Software Engineer at Charles Schwab
August 2017 - Current
Programmer Analyst I at Vitro
October 2016 - July 2017
After Vitro purchased my business unit from PPG, I gained divestiture experience and participated in the transfer of full systems and applications from one company to another while continuing to complete .NET development projects.
Programmer Analyst II & I at PPG Industries
June 2015 - October 2016
I worked both in small teams and individually to design/implement full stack .NET/SQL software solutions. In addition to developing new software to improve business functions, I also supported and maintained legacy applications, fixed bugs, and added features throughout. I had direct contact with customers both in external businesses and on the manufacturing plant floor. Development project highlights included a production planning module and an order file conversion application. I was also the system administrator and sole support for the business's CRM tool during a time when the company was beginning to adopt the system at a rapid pace. This meant meeting with users from all parts of the business to discuss and then implement projects with a wide array of business functions.
Technology Captain at Penn State THON
Apr 2014 - Apr 2015
I developed and maintained PHP web applications and provided technical support for the largest student run philanthropy in the world. Projects included an inventory management and supply request system, as well as a participant medication entry system.
I'm a 26 year old software engineer currently living in Denver, CO. I have a BS in Computer Science from Penn State University with a minor in Information Sciences and Technology.
